Acupuncture therapy
Acupuncture is a natural healing therapy used in Chinese Medicine and enhances homeostasis of the body by stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal. During each individualized acupuncture treatment, very thin, sterilized needles are inserted at precise points on the body (the needles are disposed of at the end of each treatment). Stimulating specific combinations of these points will lessen pain, reduce inflammation, and improve range of motion by promoting the circulation of Blood and Qi (pronounced “chee”) along natural channel pathways in the body. Acupuncture treatments are, for the most part, pain-free. In fact, many patients find it so relaxing that they fall asleep on the table during treatment.

Cupping therapy may be added at the end of the acupuncture treatment for added benefit of promoting circulation in the local area of pain.

Chinese Herbal Medicine consultation
Chinese Herbal Medicine consists of a prescribed formula of a specific combination of herbs and medicinals that addresses and treats the root cause and the symptoms of an individual’s ailment, injury, or illness. Taking this herbal formula daily can improve the recovery time and the outcome of the overall treatment when coupled with Acupuncture. When administered correctly, the herbs will have little to no side effects.

Plant-based Essential Oil Acupoint Therapy
Essential Oils are applied to specific Acupuncture points to stimulate the relaxation response in the body to allow healing to occur. This is a non-needle technique.
